I did a lot off looking for a personal DVD player. The Mintek had the best picture and best sound. I spent the extra money to get the 7', though the 5' is also good. Battery life is critical and this one is excellent. Got 'Lord of the Rings' through the whole thing. Only drawback is the 6 hour charging time between movies, so get an extra batery. Remote worked good. 3X and 4X zoom is just a sales promise. Didn't really do anything but spread the pixels out to where it was weird. All in all a really fun player.
