It features lightfastness rated for many years before noticeable fading occurs, when framed under glass in normal indoor fluorescent lighting conditions, when using Epson heavyweight matte paper.
Results depend on lighting conditions, humidity, color intensity, color range, and print media. Water-resistant prints are produced using genuine Epson ink cartridges and Epson premium glossy photo papers or Epson photo paper. As a long-time serious 35mm film photographer, I had my doubts about digital photography. Two weeks ago, I bought the Olympus C3030, the Epson 870 printer and, of course, this cartridge and the Epson photo paper. The results are outstanding! The color accuracy and vividness beat the photolabs hands down. Two weeks ago I was a skeptic. Today, I am a digital addict. If you buy a high-end digital camera, get an Epson photoprinter...and buy extra cartridges, photopaper and coffee.
