I actually purchased this phone at a Sam's wholesale warehouse (same price as here), where it comes with lots of nice features. Besides the standard features, such as speakerphone, LCD display (which also shows the current time), new call lights, speed-dial, etc it has something new that many phones don't, a headset button. A headset actually plugs right into this unit, and if/when the phone rings, you can put on the headset and hit the headset button to answer, WITHOUT having to pick up the HANDset. Now that's real nice. About the only reason this did not get 5 stars had to do with the QUALITY of the headset itself that came with the unit. The directional mike does not work very well, making you sound muffled. It's still quite usable, just that's the only ding was for the quality of the headset itself. I have not tried another headset to see if this would work. The unit is also a lot lighter than normal, which seemed odd as tradtionally AT&T phones usually had more weight behind them, giving them a feel of sturdyness. On a whole, I would recommend this unit to others. Especially for the price. (by Zeus) Features/Technical Specs : What people search: |
