The HP No. 15 black ink-jet print cartridge works with the HP DeskJet 810C, 812C, 840C, 842C, and PSC 500 multifunction printers. It also works with the HP No. 23 large and economy tricolor ink-jet print cartridges to deliver quality prints on any paper. The cartridge prints approximately 495 pages, combining print quality, speed, and reliability. Small ink drop volume and pigment-based inks are combined to improve density, waterfastness, and fade resistance with a lower cost per printed page. These cartridges are recyclable through the HP Print Cartridge Return and Recovery Program and are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase.

What HP doesn't tell you about this ink cartridge is that it costs almost the same as their venerable 45 cartridge, but that one holds 41ml of ink, while this one only holds 25ml. So you would appear to get 1/3 less printing (and pages) per cartridge (for roughly the same price) with a printer that uses this cartridge, as opposed to if you bought a printer that used the 45 (you have no choice if you have a printer than needs the 15 cartridge, you've got to buy it to keep using the printer). I guess they have to make their money somehow!
