Received this adapter yesterday, plugged it into my Compaq Aramada 110s, powered up the computer, it showed up as drive E, a couple clicks later I was transfering and editing photos. When I was using the software that came with my Cannon A20, I had the same photo 3 times on my hard-drive, now it's only in My Pictures. You can do all the editing on the CompactFlash card. The best part is NOT having to use camera batteries to transfer and edit. It can stay in the computer, takes up '0' space and works great.
