You can choose from four nature sounds for the alarm: brook, ocean, wind, and forest. The digital AM/FM radio features 18 preset station memories, and the LCD display is backlit with an amber glow.

This is by far the best digital alarm clock out there for the price range. I challenge you to find a better one under $... It's very easy to use. I've read some of the other reviews below and I can't believe they are having trouble setting it up using the manual! Toss the manual. I set everything up in about 7 minutes just fiddling with it, pressing buttons the most logical way (or the way the first came to my head).
The radio is a very nice design -- compact and nice looking. The nature sounds are okay, but I don't really use that feature. The most useful thing for me is the lower volume sleep compared with the wake. You can also set different radio stations or alarm for those two features. I guess the only thing I would improve is the back-lighting. It's reasonably good, but the red LED lights on many of the cheaper units are more readable. But that's okay. I can still see the time from across a decent-sized bedroom. Besides, it's an alarm clock, so chances are it's very close to your head.
BOTTOM LINE: Buy this clock!
