Focus ring works fine, color adjustments can be automatic depending on light source chosen, or manual settings for brightness, contrast, hue, etc. I found the auto-settings for indoor lighting and auto-settings for outdoor lighting worked fine. Have used it for live video, video capture, Yahoo-camera, and with other software. No problems, good value for money.
