The AVS300 three-speaker system from Altec Lansing is an excellent audio setup for music or gaming needs. Easily connected to a PC or portable audio device with a 3.5-millimeter plug, these speakers include convenient volume and power controls located on the front of one of the satellites. Featuring a pair of stereo speakers plus a subwoofer for stronger bass punch, this system delivers excellent sound at a great price. With a frequency response of 70 Hz to 18 kHz, the AVS300 speakers reproduce all but the extremely high and low frequency sounds.
Altec Lansing covers this speaker system with a one-year limited warranty.

The AVS300 speaker system is, I think, a remarkable buy! The sound is crisp and clean with ample bass reproduction. It is very simple to set up. Once installed, take them through the paces with a program like 'Windows Media Player' or 'Winamp' where you can make use of a graphic equalizer. I found these speakers performed well through the entire range of sound. Perhaps they lack the power you may be seeking but taking into account these are COMPUTER (not stereo) speakers, they perform really quite well! When you rate performance compared to cost, I doubt you can beat the AVS300's!
