Really, my title says it all, but aside from the usual muddy, muffled sound quality common among cheap pc speakers, and that these do indeed share (I wasn't expecting anything more), at least Altec-Lansing didn't skimp on the materials. The construction seems very solid with metal speaker grills and pretty weighty bases. I also really appreciate the headphone jack so I no longer have to reach behind my pc to plug in headphones. The one feature I really like though, is the big volume knob--this is more important than you might think.
