If you have an older computer that does not have USB ports you probably are missing out on dozens of useful upgrades like digital cameras, scanner, gamepads, and printers to your system. But not anymore if you get this card. Installation is not terribly difficult. Just open up your case, find an open PCI slot, pop this in and you are in business. Since I have a Macintosh I really cannot talk about the installation of drivers for Windows users, but it took just 5 minutes to get up and running on my ancient system. After that I've basically never had to deal with it ever again unless I'm changing what I have plugged into the card. The card offers two USB ports, but you can plug in a USB hub for more ports. With more and more useful devices coming out every day, USB is becoming a necessary part of your computer. Pro's: Easy installation Useful upgrade Con's: Would be nice to have more USB ports than just two. In fact that is the only reason for only getting four stars instead of five.
